How Dragons’ Den Hatches True Entrepreneurship

On the surface, CBC’s Dragons’ Den is a seven-minute opportunity for an entrepreneur to showcase their startup. The benefits of the exposure is undeniable, but what most people don’t see in the opportunity is that the show provides for entrepreneurs to push their limits and live the true elements of what entrepreneurship is all about.

From Tangoo’s audition in January 2014 until its national airing almost a year later on November 26, 2014, we embarked on a journey, which truly tested our ability to uplift the company forward. This happened despite us having walked onto the show without a launched product and leaving without having come to an investment agreement with the Dragons.
